My mission is to open the door to rights literacy through approachable stories, poetic language, and real-life examples. This vision guides my work in education and human rights in Ottawa, ensuring every learner feels confident participating in civic life.

Teaching rights as human stories.

Hello, I’m Kathy O'Grady Bose, an accomplished writer and editor. I have travelled extensively in my spouse’s homeland, India, and have had detailed conversations with women and refugees about their circumstances. I have also worked as a research analyst with the research unit of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and other NGOs. I am committed to writing poems and stories about human rights abuses and am currently working on a novel.
